Description

Olaparib is a first-in-class PARP (Poly ADP-ribose Polymerase) inhibitor.
It is an oral targeted therapy used for the maintenance treatment of adult patients with advanced ovarian cancer, fallopian tube cancer, or primary peritoneal cancer with specific genetic mutations (BRCA-mutated).
It works by blocking a specific enzyme in cancer cells, making it difficult for them to repair damaged DNA, which leads to cell death.
